Have gotten some emails with a few questions and thought I would just share the answers here, cause most relate to the Legion Laffs section the most...

1) Q: Can anyone really post to the forums?
A: Yes. And people are doing it. The only problem members have encountered is that some folks are not being able to see the confirmation code listed at the left. After several tests on nearly 20 different computers, the issue has to do with the individual's computer and not the system. What we found with some was that their internet settings was blocking it. There are many internet browsers nowadays and everyone has different settings. So, if you want to post and you are having this problem, check your internet settings. (More to follow - we'll try to post a step-by-step). Cool

2) Q: Do I have to register and log-in?
A: No, it is not necessary. The forums are all open except for just a few (which are not even available for viewing without logging in). Surprised

3) Q: If I don't have to register and log in, then what do I put for the "username" when I post?
A: Whatever you want. It doesn't matter. Razz

4) Q: Are there any limits to what jokes can be posted?
A: Yes, but not much. The first obvious issue is profanity. However, most of the obscene words are already programmed to change automatically once they are posted. The second is that we appreciate no one posting anything that is directly offensive to an individual or group of our friends, such as an individual person by name. That would be inappropriate. Wink

5) Q: (From more than one person) "Can I post jokes I get in the email? So many people flood my email with jokes that I don't have time to read them all and wind up deleting most of them just to clear the email mailbox."
A: Yes, Yes, Yes! In reality, this service was put together with this situation in mind. Email is a great source of communication. However, some folks spend a lot of time just clicking Send and Forwarding jokes without even realizing that 5 to 10 other people have either read it or already sent it the same friends. The solution: Post it! It is then located there for all to see and remains there for a lot longer than that email ever will. Usually the joke you get from your friends is received about, at the least, 5 times by a person - either at the same time or recycled over and over during a longer period of time. Posting it, eliminates that and shares it with all of our friends! Rolling Eyes

After hundreds of posts, I usually get the same questions over and over, so I figured I would just post the answers periodically to keep it fresh.

Have a great day everyone and Keep Posting!
