On January 8th, I heard Gunnery Sgt Nick Popaditch, USMC speak in front of our post membership who were on hand. Gunny Pop talked about his life, his experience, his treatment, and his recovery, and I was truly inspired in many ways. Here is a humble man who has been to hell and back and wrote a book with the initial intention to thank everyone who helped it make it back after some serious injuries in combat. His blunt, objective look at the road back and all the good and bad is a true testiment to his morale courage and the salty metal of those who helped
